2N.fm / Project note
A Focused Experiment in Browser Sharing
2N.fm explored sharing a browser tab or screen through a named room, with another browser receiving the stream. The work combined an early WebRTC and Chrome-extension lineage with a Vue frontend, creating a focused experiment in browser-based media sharing.

The Product Direction
The experiment centered on a simple interaction: share a browser tab or screen, give it a room name, and let another browser receive it. That goal shaped the receiver experience and kept the product focused on direct browser-to-browser media sharing.
The Implementation Work
The contribution included Vue migration and receiver setup, followed by player refactoring for separate audio and video handling. The work also covered playback, volume, and fullscreen interactions. The project retained upstream WebRTC and RTCMultiConnection attribution alongside collaborator contributions.
