Make Source Review Actionable
A saved page can expose structural clues, but reviewing those clues by hand makes it harder to keep observations consistent and easy to locate. We needed a bounded way to inspect common patterns, preserve source positions, and hand each observation to a person for browser-level verification.
Bound Inspection, Preserve Locations
We used saved local HTML and explicit original URL metadata as inputs to a standard-library Python parser that never fetches or executes the page. It checks same-document anchors, obvious mailto and tel syntax, image alternative-text presence, and native-control naming, then emits deterministic JSON and escaped HTML with source positions and next manual verification.
Repeatable Report, Clear Handoff
The tool turns the same bounded inputs into a consistent report with located observations and a clear follow-through point. A person can take each item into a browser for verification, separating useful inspection support from claims about the finished user experience.
